Salmon Fishing on Eastern Lake Ontario New York.Lake Ontario offers the best summer time trolling for king & coho salmon on the great lakes. It's BIG game fishing for these giant silver torpedos. Trolling spoons, cut bait, dodger/fly combos or J-plugs in the thermocline will produce amazing catches. Kings are the main focus of summer trollers and we target them from July till Sept. There's nothing like the drag screaming run of kings after you set the hook. The best place to tangle with the mighty king salmon is out on the open waters of Lake Ontario.
